While lost in time, our heroes discover they bear a striking resemblance to key players in history. Phileas Fogg and the Cardinal are nearly identical. Jules Verne and young King Louis XIII could well be twins. And Rebecca Fogg's resemblance to the courtesan cum killer, Madame D'Urfe, leads to complications when she realizes the Cardinal expects her to assassinate the King.

Fogg and Verne have a chance meeting with D'Artagnan and convince him, along with other the Musketeers, to help rescue Rebecca from the Cardinal and his guards. This leads to some spectacular swashbuckling fun, in fine Dumas fashion.

Meanwhile, after much tinkering, Passepartout has figured out the controls to the Phoenix and manages to return everyone to their correct time and place.
