The Aurora crashlands in Montravia where Passepartout is mistaken for King Carl V, leader of the small country.

The real King Carl has disappeared, and Passepartout is forced to impersonate the missing king in order to insure that an important peace treaty is signed.

Lord Tyrol, a cousin of King Carl, has designs upon the throne and seeks to overthrow Carl through any means necessary, including violence.

While Rebecca searches for the "real" King Carl, Jules and Phileas Fogg try to protect Passepartout. Phileas must disguise himself as the "king's" valet, a turning of tables with which Fogg is less than comfortable.

In the end, it takes the combined courage of King Carl and Passepartout to defeat the evil Lord Tyrol.
