While starring in one of Jules Verne's plays, Rebecca Fogg meets Duke Rimini of Carpathia, a handsome man who pays court to Miss Fogg in hopes of luring her to his side.

Unfortunately, Rimini also happens to be a vampire with strong notions about civil rights for the "undead". Rimini believes society has discriminated against vampires for far too long, and is plotting to take over the world with a pointy-fanged army of rocket-powered vampires.

Our intrepid adventurers set out to thwart his plans, but Rebecca finds herself forced to make a difficult choice between duty and her heart.
